Dementia Counselling

A dementia diagnosis can be overwhelming, leaving you uncertain about next steps. How do you manage your emotions?

What can you expect moving forward, and where can you find support?

Seeking counselling can be a valuable step in navigating the complexities of dementia, offering emotional guidance and therapeutic support as you face the challenges ahead.

To better support our patients and their families, we have enhanced our services to provide emotional support throughout their journey with dementia.

Counselling can help you better understand what you or your loved one is going through. It can be helpful to talk with a professional about your:

  • emotional responses

  • family dynamics and

  • cultural influences

  • living situation

  • symptoms of dementia

  • changes in behaviour
